You’re surprised by this?
I was gone for a while, I suppose I’d hoped you would have figured something out.
Did you ever go to the White Queen? Or are you still set on godtiering?
Considering I haven’t actually been able to pass out for a while, we’re just going with what we’ve got.
Seriously, though, this is us. What did you think would happen? Progress?
We’re looking for a Geoff right now!
Note: ANY GEOFFS MUST BE WILLING TO BE A TIME PLAYER.
You’re in much of the same boat as Michael, though slightly more lost. You don’t know the layout of his planet, much less the location of his quest bed. He doesn’t seem to know, either, but he certainly has a better chance than you.
"Michael…" You speak up after only a bit of walking. "… No, nevermind." You change your mind part of the way through. What you wanted to ask wouldn’t help anyway; it’s just stupid and this whole situation is fucked and why on Earth is he making you do this.
But, he’s not forcing you to do anything. He can’t physically make you kill him. You’re starting to lean towards that option, though… It’s part of the game, right? Therefore, it should be safe. They wouldn’t make a component of the game that tricks you into death-
Oh wait. That happens in almost every game on the market. It just feels different when it’s an actual life on the line. You give a heavy sigh as the thoughts rattle through your head.
Raising an eyebrow when he goes to speak, you sort of stop. “Qglr’a yo?” You’re concerned, not really wanting to push, but knowing it’s good to ask than to brush it off like it’s nothing. “Ud tiy sib’r qlbr ri fi rgeiyfg qurg rgua tiy xlb rwkk nw, tiy jbiq. U xlb laj ainw ibw wkaw.”
Turning back towards the house, kind of just standing there like an idiot, you look down. You didn’t want to drag him into this, and it really is his choice, but you’d rather not have to do this on your own. That’s all it is.
"Aieet die selffubf tiy lkk rgw qlt iyr gwew die birgubf."
You pull out your bow again, though you don’t ready an arrow. Hopefully, the place is far away, and you have time to think this over.
But… you don’t know what to think.
Even if you run those same thoughts through your mind over and over, you always come to no conclusion. You still have no idea what you should do. You know that Michael would never do this unless he had no other options, but… it’s still huge.
Hopefully, you’ll be able to come to a decision when you find the quest bed, but you don’t really know how you could turn him down, at this point. You can’t weasel out, now. You’re probably just going to have to do it and hope for the best.
Your mind is spinning the entire time you’re walking, trying to figure out not only what the hell to do, but what the hell you’re doing out here in the first place. You don’t want to go through with this, no part of you does, but… It might be the only way to fix you.
You don’t really know what to think, either.
You’re just going to stay silent, small talk isn’t going to work right now. Concentrating is your best bet at the moment. Every noise makes you more and more tense, whether it’s just a couple rocks being kicked by you two or something far off in the distance.
Ugh, this is so dumb, though. Your only option is to fucking die, which is evidently not the point of a video game. That or… You guess just staying like this? Fucking stupid.
